1946 Harley Davidson model E knucklehead for sale. The bike is AMCA judged at 99.75 points and with Junior, Senior and Winners Circle awards included along with all judging sheets and comments.
There is original documentation, title and period information. Since the first photographs were taken the bike now has a correct duck bill front bumper, Buco stars, and Dubonnet gear shift knob.
Modern tyres have been fitted but the Goodyears shown are also included. The bike now has a replacement single seat and saddlebags by Heathers Leathers to protect the originals but they are also included. Original key and tools also included.
The machine is currently UK registered, fully operational and has had a recent top end/ valve service.
Any inspection is welcome, currently located in Lincoln, UK.
Price can be reduced if accessories/ other are not required.
We have now completed the dry build and have a running motorcycle. It will be the first time this machine has run for many years.
Next is the final teardown, some more fettling and then paint and plating. This years Pioneer Run is maybe too ambitious for completion but we will see.

Step starting the 1914 two speed from the ‘wrong’ side. Some great history here. The bike has some lovely accessories, the car in the background, the camera setup and I wonder what’s in that shed.
